16 year-old Country Singer-songwriter MEGAN LOUISE from Merseyside will be releasing her debut single which she co-wrote called ‘Train Song’ (MLB Records) in August.

With comparisons to Taylor Swift, LeAnn Rimes and Britney Spears.

following a recent sold- out gig in Germany the newspapers were hailing her as the UK’s answer to Taylor Swift.  Vocally, Megan Louise has also been compared to LeAnn Rimes and the similarities don’t end there, both girls went to vocal and dance classes from a very young age and both started their careers in Musical Theatre, Meg at the age of seven in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ in her hometown at the Liverpool Empire.

Between the ages of 11-13 Meg grabbed every opportunity at performing in front of a ‘live’ audience and continued to write songs.  It was during this time many people mentioned the country tone in her voice.  This encouraged her to start listening to other Country Artists and she was hooked – major influences include, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, The Shires, Maddie & Tae, Kelsea Ballerini, Dolly Parton and Rascal Flatts.

When she performed on the ‘Voice Kids’ at the age of 14 – Will.i.am said she reminded him of ‘a younger Britney Spears’.  Her appearance on ‘Voice Kids’ made her even more determined to make music her life.

Megan Louise has been fortunate to have recorded in many studios, sung on albums for other artists and performing ‘live’ in the UK and now Europe.  Not forgetting the importance of education Meg has been balancing her music and education, as she has just completed her GCSE’s.

And now Megan Louise is now excited to be releasing her own EP in August (recorded recently at Parr St Studios-  Coldplay, Elbow and Take That).

Tracklisting:

1 ‘Train Song’ the title track and single is really infectious with a catchy chorus, its written ‘all about fate and how small things can change our paths and change our lives’.

2 “Love Me Like You Mean It”

3 “Rebel”

Megan Louise’s dream is to be able to make music her life, spend time in Nashville and perform live and ‘Train Song’ could be the very track that starts her on the next part of her exciting journey!
